An informational meeting for NWDA TEAM 2025/2026 will be held on June 9 at 6-6:45pm in Studio B.

For the 2025–2026 season, NWDA TEAM members are required to take at least 3 NWDA recreational classes in their appropriate level, one of the required classes must be ballet, technique and whatever genre they are in for their TEAM dance, as well as a weekly TEAM rehearsal.TEAM members are required to participate in their NWDA recreation  schedule of events running from September through June. This includes four mandatory dance competitions, one convention, and all NWDA performance opportunities. Required performances include The Polar Express, the Annual Spring Recital, the TEAM Showcase, the Tillamook June Dairy Parade, and the Tillamook County Fair Performances. Additional local performance opportunities may arise throughout the season, and our TEAM is the best group to represent NWDA at these events.

The competitive season typically runs from January through May. While most competition dates have not yet been released, we anticipate attending four competitions and one convention. In past years, we have participated in events such as Spotlight, Act 1 Talent, Celebrity Dance, StarPower, LA Dance Magic, ANDE, and Turn It Up Dance Challenge. These competitions are usually held in the greater Portland area, with the Turn It Up Dance Challenge taking place in Eugene. Competition schedules can vary widely, often involving early mornings, late evenings, multiple-day events, and occasionally performances on Thursdays or Fridays.

Optional events may be offered during the season; however, if your dancer is part of a routine registered for an optional competition, full commitment from all dancers in that routine is required in order to compete. As a TEAM, we are proud to represent NWDA and strive to maintain a strong presence at all performances and competitions. Additional details and dates will be shared as soon as they become available. Competition dates will be finalized by Bootcamp, and all known personal conflicts should be announced at that time.
